What style of ceremony inspires you... simple and stylish, extravagant, themed?
Where would you like your ceremony to be... at home, in castle ruins, in a barn, up a mountain, in a woodland?
When would you like your ceremony to take place... morning, afternoon, early evening, midnight?
The good news is that with me, the how, where and when is completely your choice. I can create any kind of couples ceremony, completely customised to your tastes.
Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Renewal of Vows, Engagements, Commitment Ceremonies, or any other kind of couples ceremony you would like, I would love to be part of it.
As celebrants don’t handle the legal proceedings of a marriage or civil partnership (see my FAQs), there is no restriction associated with licensed premises. So you can hold your ceremony anywhere you choose!
You’re also not limited in terms of timings or content. So if you’d like to include a handfasting, jumping the broom, feet bathing, unity candles, prayer, cocktail (yes, I did just say, would you like to include a cocktail?!), or shots… you name it, I can do it!
Your vows or promises to each other, can be as romantic or as light-hearted as you wish. And if you want family, friends, or even your pets to play a part, I can make that happen too.
There are so many stylish, romantic and fun things you can do to put your own individual mark on your ceremony, and I would love nothing more than to craft something completely unique to you.

How it works
Working with me to create your wedding, civil partnership, vow renewal, engagement, commitment or any other couples ceremony is very simple. And also lots of fun too!
The first step is to get in touch for a chat about your ideas. Then, if you choose to book me, we will meet in person ideally, and by video call at the very least, to start planning.
I will then write you a completely bespoke ceremony script, leaving plenty of time for you to make any changes you may wish.
When the big day comes around, I will arrive early to make sure everything is ready for us, then conduct your perfect ceremony just the way we planned. I only ever officiate one ceremony per day, so my time is completely yours. After the ceremony I will send you a commemorative copy of your unique script.
My fees are very simple. No matter how many extra elements you wish to include in your ceremony, the fee remains the same. No add-ons, no extras. So, go to town! Have whatever is meaningful to you, wherever and whenever you wish to make your memories.

The most magical Ceremony. Michelle was amazing, better than we had dreamt. We wanted a pagan ceremony bringing in the elements and goddesses. It wasn’t your quick 15 min ceremony, Michelle worked tirelessly meeting with us on zoom and filling in detailed questionnaires to her about our love story . The ceremony was around half an hour to 45 minutes and got the guests involved too. After the wedding day she sent us in a nice personalised folder her script and our vows we wrote to each other. All the guests loved it and commented on never have been to a wedding like it.

Michelle is an absolute legend, she managed to weave the most beautiful story of my moomin (mother) together from a garbled mish-mash of information at very short notice. I intended to write and deliver my own eulogy and full ceremony! Considering I am the worst public speaker on earth, I don’t know what I was thinking!.. My friends rightly advised against, and then found me Michelle as I was struggling to find a connection with any celebrant when doing my own search. She instantly got my Moomins’ vibe and knew I didn’t want any of the expected solemn tones. This was to be a true celebration and my gosh, did she deliver! Of course there was tears, but there was also so much laughter, rounds of applause, a standing ovation and dancing at the end (something that may not have happened had Michelle not vetoed my final song choice… it was too sad.. we needed to end on a high! I will be forever grateful for that as it was just the right call!) She worked right up till the very last minute, tweaking this and that as she met my mums friends and people that were mentioned, she even found the perfect part of moomins diary at the last moment and I honestly could have ran up and kissed her for selecting that part.. it captured her beautifully! Not only that, but she navigated around some unpredictable family members and personal issues magnificently. Also offered me some really sage advice on how to move forward and deal with certain dilemmas. Really felt like she truly cared, and that’s because she does! Although I offered for her to stay after, she politely declined and said it was time for my family and friends. However, they were having none of it! She practically had a queue of our nearest and dearest wanting to thank her and tell her what an incredible job she’d done. She couldn’t get away for over an hour! I have since had a barrage of awkward messages, telling me how it feels strange to say, but they had such a fantastic time at my Moomin’s memorial, and Michelle is mentioned in every one... “She channelled your mum” …“she captured her spirit so well” …“she was f**kin’ awesome” My mum was a legend & a total rockstar and Michelle brought her back to life for just one more day!…. (I will love you forever for that) If you have read this far, all I can say is book her now! You will not regret it!

We met Michelle at a local wedding faire, and right from the get-go we were sweet away with the passion that Michelle has for what she does! We had a wonderful chat sharing our high level ideas and thoughts and the enthusiasm only grew! During the planning phases Michelle was unbelievably helpful, I am a worrier and was concerned my back and forth would cause dismay but at every turn Michelle was reassuring and helpful and put all my concerns to bed. The relief of this pressure really helped in the whirlwind that is planning such a big event! We had plenty of opportunity to meet up and chat through ideas in person and she was always available at the end of an email if I had anything I needed to discuss of pass on. The planning of our ceremony was a really fun experience as we're were able to bring the "vibes" and sme core ideas, and Michelle ran with it! coking up with even more fantastic ideas that we folded into the day to make it uniquely us. Contact in the run up to the wedding day was fantastic, I was always kept in the loop of when the next update would be, I never had to worry about when stuff was happening or if we'd have time to review the ceremony plan as Michelle had it all covered and planned out beautifully When the day came we were just blown away by everything, our ceremony went smoothly, our families loved the format and stories, and we had some absolutely magical moments, with our personality as a couple being front and center. Michelle really pulled out all the stops, being prepared for any weather (outdoor weddings eh?!) and having a backup plan for anything, but everything went as smooth as butter and we were able to exchange out wedding bands from sword and have the ceremony of our dreams We also had Michelle stay with us into the evening as our Mistress of Ceremonies, and her attention to detail, timekeeping and overall lvoley demeanor made "herding the cats" as they say, and absolute breeze, knowing we had someone in our corner with as much passion as she does meant we could focus on other things and know the afternoon and evening would run without issue we finalised our day with a beautiful handfasting ceremony for our reception guests, and a cake & ale ceremony to replace a cake cutting, each trailer to our story for all the guests and ourselves to enjoy. Michelle was such a huge part of our day, and the weeks and month that led up to it, I couldn't imagine anyone else have conquered the mammoth task with such a bright and professional personality at all turns and I could not imagine how the day may have evolved without her expert care and knowledge.
